Job Description
The CVICU RN will provide specialized care in a high-acuity environment, focusing on patients post-open heart surgery. Open Heart experience is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.
- Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Open Heart experience required.
- Current RN license.
- Trinity Profile and Drug Screening required for onboarding.
- Compliance with all health and safety requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination and other immunizations.
