Job Requirements

Education Requirements: Associate's degree in a related healthcare field
Certifications Requirements: Active BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), IL State License (IEMA), ARRT or RTR, and highly preferred RCIS certification (CCI)
Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience, previous EPIC charting experience, and proficiency with sheath pulling, line securement, and EKG interpretation
Other Requirements: Knowledge of aseptic technique, ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, familiarity with IABP/Impella devices, and active ALARIS IV, Pyxis, Zoll defibrillator, Phillips Fluoro, and Merge Hemodynamics systems

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive cardiac interventional procedures according to established protocols and patient needs.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless workflow and patient safety.
Maintain aseptic technique and manage sterile fields during procedures.
Document procedures, patient data, and device usage accurately in EPIC and other systems.
Execute line placements, sheath pulling, and device management with precision and adherence to safety standards.
