Unit: CVICU (High Acuity CCU)
Contract: 13 weeks (16 preferred)
Start: 3–4 weeks (per compliance)
Ratio: 1:2
Experience Required:
❌ No first-time travelers
✅ 2 years Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience
🚫 No Neuro ICU
✅ Must pass Relias EKG exam
Skills Required:
Ventilator management, arterial lines, PA catheters, pacemakers, Impella, IABP, LVAD, vasoactive drips, central lines, dialysis, cardiac arrest, cardiogenic shock, arrhythmias, pre-heart transplant, CHF, etc.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Weekend: Every other
Call: No
Floating: Within service line only
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Locals: Not accepted (must live 75+ miles away)
License: Pending accepted
RTO: Max 5 days / 40 hours
Facility: Magnet Teaching Hospital, Level I Trauma, 1266 beds
Charting: EPIC
Scrubs: Navy Blue
Parking: Monthly pass required (fees vary); free for straight night shift
