RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Trauma ICU
Job Details:
• Work in a 20-bed Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) with 1:2 patient ratios
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts on a 6-week schedule
• Modified self-scheduling available
• Dress code requires all navy or all white scrubs, or navy bottoms with white top
• Float to other ICUs (MICU, NSICU, CVICU, CICU) or Step Down units as needed
• Work with advanced equipment including EVDs, Camino/bolts, wound vacs, Baxter IV pumps, GE Carescape bedside monitors, GE ventilators, iCool machines, Blanketrol blankets, Bair Hugger, Prisma Max CRRT, Zoll, Kangaroo feeding pumps, and Alaris PCA pumps
• Use Cerner Power Chart documentation system
• Perform procedures including intubation, extubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, A-line placement, Foley placement, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, proning, TPA administration, hypertonic medication administration, trach placement, EVD/bolt placement, CRRT/HD, irrigation and debridement, and minor surgery
• Must have Trauma ICU experience from Level I or Level II Trauma Centers
• Surgical ICU experience required
• Acute Care ICU skills required (No LTAC experience considered)
• Required certifications: Valid Nursing License, Active ACLS and BLS Certifications
• Must demonstrate kind, compassionate patient care and be a team player with positive attitude and flexibility
