HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Ocala, Florida.

Requested Skill Set: PCU level of care, ACLS, BLS, read heart rhythms, understand hemodynamics, understand ABG’s, titrate cardiac drips,
Must have: ACLS and BLS
Procedures performed on unit: chest tube insertion, cardioversion, central line insertion
Unit Specifics:
· Number of Beds : 24
· Patient Ratios : 4:1, sometimes float to 4 North (med-surg) which is 6:1
· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : There are PCT’s (12:1 ratio), Unit Secretary, 2 Clinical Managers, 1 Director
· Type of equipment : Dash monitors, Welch Alynn Dynamaps, Accucheck glucometers, EKG machine, bladder scanner, Alaris IV pumps, PCA pumps
· Documentation system: Meditech
· Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, 3 shifts per week.
· Floating policy: as needed
· Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, be courteous and respectful, listen to the patients.
