Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a fast-paced MS/Tele-ER border position. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a high-volume setting, which includes emergency, medical/surgical, telemetry, and intermediate care.
Responsibilities
- Care for a diverse patient population with complex admission diagnoses.
- Float between emergency department and medical/surgical units as needed.
- Monitor patients and manage various medical conditions, including cardiac and neurological issues.
- Perform emergency interventions and provide post-surgical care.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies as per protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current Maryland (MD) or Compact RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and CPI is mandatory.
- Must have experience with a patient ratio of 1:6.
- Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
- Travel experience is required.
