Job Description
The Maternity/Baby Unit (MBU) provides maternity services focusing on low-risk antepartum, postpartum, and well-baby nursery care. Our practice emphasizes couplet care of the mother and neonate with a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 3 couplets per nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to mother-baby couplets.
- Monitor and assess maternal and neonatal health.
- Facilitate education and support for new parents.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- A minimum of 2 years of mother-baby couplet care experience is required.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
- No previous travel experience is required.
