Job Summary
The Clinic Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in an outpatient setting, supporting physicians and advanced practice providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered services. The RN Clinic is responsible for patient assessments, care coordination, education, and follow-up while ensuring efficient clinic workflow. This role focuses on preventive care, chronic disease management, and promoting positive patient outcomes in a structured, team-based environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake, assessments, and vital sign monitoring
- Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and treatments
- Administer medications, injections, vaccines, and IV therapy as ordered
- Perform wound care and basic clinical procedures
- Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments
- Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Triage patient calls and respond to clinical inquiries appropriately
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Ensure compliance with infection control and clinic safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction goals
Qualifications
- Must have a valid RN state license in WI.
- Must have AHA BLS.
- Must have 1+ years of experience.
- Must have a Associate’s Degree in Nurse specialization or a High School Diploma.
