Experience the best of both worlds in "Silicorn Valley." This 13-week assignment at Jefferson County Health Center (JCHC) offers a unique split schedule. You’ll spend two nights in the Emergency Room and one night on the Med-Surg unit, providing a variety of clinical experiences with a strong weekly gross of $2,506.

🌙 Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed

📝 Note: JCHC is an "Elite Compliance" facility; 100% of credentials must be cleared 5 days before start.
🩺 Role Highlights
Dynamic Care Delivery: Transition seamlessly between emergency interventions and total patient care on the Med-Surg floor.
ER Focus: Assess, stabilize, and treat acute trauma and medical emergencies using the nursing process.
Med-Surg Stability: Manage adult populations, directing ancillary personnel and providing patient/family education.
Clinical Excellence: Maintain professional standards in a facility that prioritizes holistic and evidence-based nursing.
📋 Mandatory Qualifications
Licensure: Active Iowa (IA) or Compact/Multi-State RN License.
Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are all strictly required for the ER rotation.
Mandatory Reporter: Iowa certificates for Child & Dependent Adult Abuse must be completed prior to start.
Experience: Acute care experience is preferred, but the facility is open to highly motivated RNs with strong foundational skills.
✅ Pre-Start Compliance Checklist
Deadline: All items must be in the HR system no later than 5 business days prior to 3/16.
Health: Physical exam (within 1 yr), 10-panel drug screen (within 1 mo), and Respiratory Fit Test.
Immunizations: MMR, Varicella, Polio, Hep B, TDaP (within 10 yrs), and Flu (seasonal).
Background: Comprehensive 7-year background check, Sex Offender Registry, GSA/SAM.gov, and OIG.
Education: Completion of CareLearning modules (provided by the hospital).
