Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room / Emergency Department nursing experience
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR (electronic medical record)
- Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) preferred
- Experience managing trauma, STEMI, stroke, behavioral health, and related emergencies
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with trauma, cardiac (STEMI), stroke, and behavioral health emergencies
- Perform emergency interventions per hospital protocols and scope of practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in EPIC EMR
- Respond promptly to changing patient conditions and escalate as needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital safety standards and emergency department policies
