Avg. caseload - Average 35-50 cases per day. Expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes.
Special equipment - 3 Davinci robots. Use Stealth technology for Neuro navigation and use primarily Synthes or Stryker for ortho trauma. We dont do many ortho joints.
How many suites - 16 ORs. Run from 12-14 routinely. As a level 1 trauma center, we reserve space for traumas.
Service lines - Cardiac/ PV, Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gyn, uro, general, pediatrics, transplants. We do a small volume of ENT and plastic procedures.
Scrub or Circulate - both would be preferred.
Other - the call for weekends is from end of shift on Friday until 0630am Monday.
experience in the following cases: (daVinci robotics, pediatrics, trauma, Neurology, orthopedics (primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, Ear, nose, throat, Vascular) [preferred]
• Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist
