Position Overview
Seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry RN for a high-acuity Med Surg/Tele unit. Candidates must be confident managing cardiac patients, administering cardiac drips, interpreting EKG strips independently, and providing comprehensive wound care.
Floating to Med Surg is required.
Requirements
✔ Minimum 2 years current MS/Tele experience
✔ Active New York State RN license
✔ BLS (required)
✔ ACLS (required)
✔ NIH Stroke Certification (required prior to start)
✔ Strong IV skills (no IV team support specified)
✔ Travel experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms independently
- Administer and titrate cardiac drips
- Perform comprehensive cardiac and neuro assessments
- Provide advanced wound care
- Initiate and maintain IV therapy
- Deliver safe medication administration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Float to Med Surg as needed
