Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is recommended. Strong cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and arrhythmia management skills are essential. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is valued.
