Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live 50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:
Required skills and experience: 2 years Med/Tele RN experience (Resource Team). General Med/Tele skillset: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc.), PCA pumps. Medication gtt management to include: Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IVF.
Preferred skills and experience: Will you accept a first-time traveler? Not preferred but will consider (Resource Team)
Shift & schedule requirements: EOW. Travelers will work 75% of holidays.
Floating requirements: Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice.
Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) – could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises
Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital
Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH
▪ If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
Unit and facility details: ADTU and Satellite unit consists of 5 med-surg and med-tele units with the primary focus of decompressing the ED and other specialties areas within the hospital. Ratios: 6CD - 1:5-6, acuity dependent (surge staffing could increase ratios up to 1:7-8). 3K - 1:4. 5A - 1:4. 3L - 1:4. 1T: 1:4.
