Hospital in New York, seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to begin as soon as credentialed. This hospital-based role involves a mix of personally performed cases and CRNA supervision across a variety of surgical specialties. Providers will work within a busy environment using Epic EMR and caring primarily for geriatric patients.
Dates / Schedule Start Date: ASAP, pending credentialing
Coverage: Full-time
Reason for Need: Open slot
Setting: Hospital-based with 8 operating rooms
MD:CRNA Ratio: 1:3/4 with daily mix of own cases and CRNA supervision
Job Details / Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for orthopedic, urology, ophthalmology, and endoscopy cases
Perform required procedures, including:
Spinal anesthesia
Epidural anesthesia
Regional blocks
Care for geriatric patients and limited pediatric cases (dental/eyes only)
Work with and supervise CRNAs as needed
Document in Epic EMR
Travel reimbursement provided for flight, hotel, and rental car
Required Skills & Qualifications Board Certified in Anesthesiology required
Active New York State medical license at submission required
Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Must reside outside a 60-mile radius required
