CVOR RN – Quick Summary
Shift: Day 3×12 hrs (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Primary Unit: CVOR
Float: Main OR (mainly Ortho & General cases)
Experience Required: 2.5+ years OR experience
Skills: Scrub & Circulate required
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Preferred Experience:
Transplant: Cardiac, Lung, or Kidney
Cardiac Cases: CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, Dissection, VATS, VADs
Vascular/Endovascular: AAA, Carotid Endarterectomy, Arteriogram, Angiogram, TCAR, AV Fistula, Fem-Pop Bypass, TEVAR
On-Call Requirement:
24 hrs on-call one weekend per month (Sat/Sun)
2 weekday calls (8-hr shift: 3–11 PM or 11 PM–7 AM)
Other Details:
Charting: EPIC / OR Manager / PICIS
Scrubs: Provided
Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed (approval required)
RTO: Must be included at submission.
