Stepdown RN needed in Keene, NH for a hospital based assignment. You will care for higher acuity adult patients who need close monitoring and frequent reassessment, including post op, cardiac and respiratory cases, sepsis workups, and patients transitioning out of ICU. Strong telemetry skills are a must. You should be comfortable managing drips per policy, rapid changes in patient status, and collaborating closely with providers, RT, and the ICU team. Expect a fast pace, frequent admissions from ED and ICU, and a strong focus on safety, documentation, and communication.
Active RN license required (NH or compact if applicable)
BLS required, ACLS required or strongly preferred
Recent Stepdown, PCU, or ICU level experience required
Strong telemetry interpretation experience required
Comfortable with higher acuity skills: frequent neuro and cardiac assessments, titratable drips per policy, non invasive ventilation support, and rapid response situations
Floating may be required within scope and competency
Must be able to pass background, drug screen, and complete all facility compliance items on time
Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays as needed
