Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in McKinney, Texas. The role involves providing specialized patient care in a 46-bed unit with a focus on observing and managing patient conditions, including managing drips such as heparin, Cardizem, and Cardene. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

- Required Qualifications: Certifications include NIH stroke scale and ACLS; Education/Experience requirements include current RN licensure with zero years of experience minimum; candidates should have PCU experience, be able to manage drips such as heparin, Cardizem, Cardene, and have experience with Meditech electronic medical records.
- Preferred Qualifications: More than a year of PCU experience and experience with Meditech are preferred.
- Patient Ratios: 1:4, with a maximum of 1:5.
- Typical Equipment Used: IV pumps, Sara Stedy Lift, Roving B450 monitors, remote tele.
- Personality Fit: Teamwork.
- Additional Information: The unit has an average census of 34, staffed by 74 personnel, with two weekend shifts every pay period or four weekend shifts every four weeks.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
