National Park Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients across a variety of clinical settings within our comprehensive medical center, which offers emergency care, surgical services, and specialized treatments. In this role, you will perform thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and closely monitor patients’ responses to care. You will collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate diagnostic tests, procedures, and ongoing treatment, ensuring each patient receives high-quality, patient-centered care.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record, maintaining clear communication with patients, families, and the care team. You will provide education to patients and their support systems regarding diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and home care, helping them understand their treatment plans and promoting positive health outcomes. A strong focus on infection control, patient safety, and adherence to hospital policies and clinical best practices is essential. You will participate in quality improvement initiatives, follow evidence-based protocols, and support efforts to enhance patient experience throughout the medical center.
