Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Lakewood, Colorado.

Job Description & Requirements

Clinical Nursing Process: Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate high-acuity nursing care based on continuous collection of patient health data.
Health Education: Deliver comprehensive health teaching and restorative counseling directly to patients and their families.
Delegation & Supervision: Coordinate care workflows by safely delegating and supervising tasks assigned to supportive unit personnel.
System Alignment: Promote the mission, vision, and core service behavior values of the Intermountain Health / SCL Health network.
Experience: Previous acute care nursing experience required (Stepdown/PCU background preferred).
Licensure: Active Colorado State RN License or valid Compact/Multistate RN License in hand.
Certifications Required: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Preferred Certifications: TNCC is a strong plus.
Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN is preferred.

Scheduling Logistics

Shift: 12-hour night shifts.
Floating: Flexibility is required; clinicians will float to other departments within their clinical scope of competency based on immediate business needs.
On-Call: May be required to be placed on-call or standby during a regularly scheduled shift format.
