Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our CV PreOp unit. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a skilled interdepartmental team.
Responsibilities
- Perform large-bore IV starts and assist with arterial and central line placements.
- Conduct skin assessments and hair removal from chin to toe.
- Administer medications and assist with patient transport to the OR.
- Support induction and intubation procedures, including positioning and skin prep.
- Document patient care accurately in the Cerner documentation system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- Must hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Critical care experience is required; PreOp experience is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a high-acuity patient area.
