Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position involves providing specialized oncology and hematology patient care, including blood administration, electrolyte replacement, neuro assessments, and central line management. Candidates are required to bring their registered nurse license on the first day of orientation.
Job Details:
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
- Specialty: Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), Oncology/Hematology
- Schedule: Night Shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Every third weekend and holidays as needed.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification, no minimum experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Oncology/Hematology experience, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience, critical care background including vents and drips.
- Float: Will float to like units including stepdown, critical care, and oncology units.
- Additional Information: Mandatory online education prior to start; three shifts of unit orientation; shift start date June 29, 2026; potential for long-term patient care responsibilities with a focus on hematology and bone marrow transplant patients.
