Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery with a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience to join our team. The RN will provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, monitor maternal and fetal conditions, assist during delivery, and support postpartum recovery. Candidates must possess strong clinical and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment. Required certifications include NRP, BLS, ACLS through AHA, STABLE certification, and an active Idaho State RN license.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients in an acute care setting
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond to changes appropriately
- Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and emergency obstetric procedures
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and patient education in accordance with care plans and protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with patient safety and hospital standards
Skills:
- Strong maternal and fetal assessment and monitoring skills
- Expertise in Labor & Delivery nursing and emergency obstetric care
- Proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy, and postpartum care
- Knowledge of NRP, STABLE, BLS, and ACLS protocols and patient safety standards
- Effective communication and patient/family education abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced acute care environment with strong critical thinking skills
