Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basisSupervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegatedEnsure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered consistentlySupport clinical competency of unit staff and appropriate resource management related to patient careOperate within a stroke-certified hospital environment, adhering to applicable care protocols and standards
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standingExperience in Med/Surg nursingAbility to work 12-hour shifts (days or nights)Strong clinical assessment and patient care planning skillsAbility to supervise and delegate care to appropriate clinical staff
Preferred Experience / Skills
Telemetry experience strongly preferredExperience working in a stroke-certified hospital settingFamiliarity with resource management and unit-level accountability
