Job Summary:
Emergency Department Nurse position located in Aberdeen, Washington. This is a 13-week contract working night shifts from 1830 to 0700, with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week, and opportunities to pick up additional shifts. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and have current certifications as specified. The position requires experienced emergency department nursing skills, including charge experience.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current Washington State license or multi-state license with approved six-hour suicide training; verification of demographics from Nursys; current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale).
- Schedule: Night shift from 1830 to 0700, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Meditech electronic health record system; team player with emergency department nursing experience and charge nurse experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have pre-approved RTO and full scheduling availability. Housing options include extended stay hotels and furnished apartments at various locations in the region.
