Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Telemetry (TELE) Clinician for a Med Surg Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Prescott Valley, Arizona. This role involves caring for adult patients requiring telemetry monitoring, including those with cardiac dysrhythmias, and supporting a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Prescott Valley, AZ
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Education/Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Medical Surgical nursing; experience with telemetry is preferred; must be able to interpret telemetry strips and pass a dysrhythmia exam on hire.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 0700/1900 and 1930/0730; every other weekend (Friday and Saturday for night shift; Saturday and Sunday for day shift); holiday rotation; potential standby shifts during low census periods.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS and ACLS certifications; at least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Additional Information: Clinicians may be asked to precept nursing students; float to Medical/Surgical, Pediatric, and Multi-Care Units; care for stable C-Pap and Bi-Pap patients; read telemetry strips; rotate into various units as needed.
