Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse in PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care to adult patients with cardiac, respiratory, and sepsis diagnoses.
- Manage and titrate various medications including Heparin, Nitro, and Insulin.
- Interpret telemonitor strips independently and assess patient vitals regularly.
- Float to MedSurg or ICU to manage PCU acuity patients as needed.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, including nail and dress code requirements.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive patient experience and responsiveness.
Qualifications
- Current RN license; Driver's license required for distance verification.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
- Proficiency with arterial lines is necessary.
- Ability to float to similar units and adapt to varying patient needs.
- Pass an open-book exam on orientation day with a minimum score of 90%.
- BSN not required, but highly preferred; strong communication skills essential.
