Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) role in Polson, Montana. This position involves providing comprehensive emergency care across a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. - Required Qualifications: Valid Montana or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at time of submission). Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience, including patient ratio experience of 3 or more, and experience with the Epic charting system. Certifications required include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).

- Additional Information: The ER unit supports a daily census of approximately 10 patients, with around 25 visits per day, in a facility with 7 patient rooms and 22 beds. The unit has interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary. Experience with managing a variety of emergency conditions as listed in the skills section is required. Candidates must be flexible to float within the facility as needed, with no on-call requirements, and rotating weekend shifts.
- Certifications: Must include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, NRP, PALS, TNCC, ENPC.
- Community Hospital Experience: Required.
