**Qualifications and Experience Required:**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty is preferred.
- Perinatal RN Residency or recent practice in a Perinatal Setting is preferred.
**Licenses and Certifications Required:**
- Current BLS Certification required (AHA only).
- Current STABLE certification required from Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor courses.
- Current NRP Certification required.
- RN License in the state of TX or compact is required.
**Additional Requirements:**
- All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member, and initial onboarding requirements are validated through the successful completion of the designated organizational entry competency validation and a Perinatal Services-specific competency validation.
- Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.
