Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care and maintain patient airway through techniques such as mask fitting and Cheyne-Stokes monitoring.
- Administer respiratory therapy procedures including aerosol therapy, CPAP, and oxygen therapy.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies to optimize patient outcomes such as O2 saturation and End-Tidal CO2 levels.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EPIC charting system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in emergency response as necessary.
- Float to like units within the facility as required to cover staffing needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, CRT or RRT.
- Experience in interpreting arterial blood gases and performing aerosol therapy.
- Familiarity with Draeger and Bellavista equipment preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment with neonates to geriatric patients.
- Pending licenses accepted.
