Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care and life support to patients in NICU and PICU.
- Administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care procedures in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and provide patient-specific care.
- Conduct assessment and monitoring of patient responses to treatments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic charting system.
- Assist with the transport and high-risk deliveries as required.
Qualifications
- Valid RRT certification and VA state licensure or compact equivalent.
- Minimum two years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a Level I Trauma facility preferred.
- Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
- Experience with ventilator management, including high flow nasal cannula and Jet ventilators.
- Demonstrated experience with Epic charting system required.
- Strong understanding of trauma and emergency procedures in critical care settings.
