Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week adult critical care night shift contract at a prestigious academic medical center in Boston, MA.
Details
- Adult acute critical care unit setting at a large academic medical center in Boston, MA
- Night shift schedule: 18:15–06:45
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Epic used for documentation (preferred)
- Hamilton ventilator experience preferred
Requirements
- RRT credential required (NBRC certified)
- Active, unrestricted MA Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or RRT license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
- BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services to adult critical care patients
- Epic charting system used for documentation
- Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
- No validated parking available at Boston location; public transportation is recommended; public parking is available at candidate's expense
- RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
