Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Cardiology is sought for a placement in San Francisco, California. This role involves working in a high-acuity Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory environment, providing expert patient care during complex cardiac procedures. Candidates are required to bring their California nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: San Francisco, California
- Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL)
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Cardiac Cath/Interventional Cardiology/Electrophysiology (EP). Experience with Structural Heart procedures and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) is preferred.
- Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for all RN positions.
- Licenses: California Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand required.
- Schedule: 12-hour days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week scheduled.
- Additional Qualifications: Must have experience with advanced cardiac procedures and ability to float to other healthcare facilities within the designated radius.
- Equipment and Skills: Proficiency in complex cardiac interventions including ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, PCI, TAVR, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), among others.
- Vaccinations: COVID-19 Vaccine and booster are required; exemptions allowed only for medical or religious reasons.
- Submission Requirements: Two references from the most recent employer are required at the time of submittal.
