- Required Qualifications: Valid Georgia or compact license in hand, at least 18 months of experience in the specialty within the past 3 years, no float requirement, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. CCRN certification preferred, with experience handling presurgical patients.
- Additional Information: The unit, 4B, is a 12-bed section within the heart/vascular service line, accommodating LVADs, arterial lines, PA catheters, and small drips, but no ventilators, CRRT, Impella devices, or intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP). The environment offers the chance to develop critical care skills, critical thinking, and assessment skills. It periodically serves as an observation area for post-procedure patients who are expected to be discharged the same day, assuming stable condition.
