Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Lewiston, Maine. The role involves providing care in a Level 2 trauma center with a focus on a wide range of patients from Pediatrics to Geriatrics. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Lewiston, Maine
- Schedule: 3:00 PM 3:00 AM; Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 2 years of experience in a non-trauma emergency department; certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias; managing ventilated patients; proficiency in triage
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with a pediatric patient population; familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Omnicell, EPIC, and SBAR
- Float: Float rotation may be required to emergency department holding area
- Additional Information: No guaranteed weekend hours; work schedule aimed at fairness; no call requirements
