Registered Nurse - Float Pool (ICU, Medical/Surgical, Rehab)
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Nights, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) including every other weekend as needed.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Float Pool will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while floating to various units, including ICU, Medical/Surgical, and Rehabilitation as needed. Candidates must demonstrate clinical competence and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patient care in various settings including ICU, MS units, and Rehab.
- Provide care to COVID-19 patients when necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions effectively, including performing interventions for dysrhythmias, arterial and central line management, and care of ventilated patients.
- Document patient care and treatments using EPIC system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
- Epic experience is required.
- Active RN license with no hits accepted.
