Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position available in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role involves providing care in a very high acuity unit, with a focus on stroke, cardiovascular, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position accommodates night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Job Details:
- Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA); current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA; current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from AHA; TNCC certification; RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure; one year of experience in the related nursing specialty (preferred).
- Schedule: Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Every other weekend requirement; no call; no floating; nurse/patient ratio of 4:1; potential for temp-to-perm placement; positions available: 2.
