Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Eureka, California. This role entails providing post-partum, labor, and newborn care within a high-volume facility. Candidates are required to bring their California state license on the first day. The position begins on 07/13/2026, with an expectation of working night shifts. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in labor and delivery and is prepared to work two of the three major holidays.

- Required Qualifications: California state license; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN Intermediate (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 0 years of experience minimum; EMR experience with Epic; must include SSN, DOB, and RTO at submission; two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during compliance and prior to start; ability to work at least 36 hours per week, including nights; willingness to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC charting system; prior labor and delivery or postpartum experience.
- Additional Information: Traveler must be willing to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals; compliance with immunization requirements including COVID-19 vaccine and flu vaccine is necessary.
