Job Summary:
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in St. Charles, Missouri. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care through comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and patient education. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: St. Charles, Missouri
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification required prior to first shift; ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only); minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience; ICU experience or appropriate skills for Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH); previous experience in the organization is preferred.
- Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develops individualized care plans. Responsible for documentation, patient education, discharge planning, and supporting continuity of care. Supervises ancillary nursing personnel, delegates tasks appropriately, and participates in team-building activities. Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation and actively pursues professional development. Prioritizes activities to meet patient needs effectively.
