Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position is available in Folsom, California. This role involves providing care in a family birthing center with a focus on labor, delivery, and neonatal support. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position offers 12-hour night shifts with an every-other-weekend schedule.
Job Details:
- Location: Folsom, California
- Shift: 12-hour nights, every other weekend, first to float
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
- Required Qualifications: Valid license; Certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); a minimum of 1 year of labor, delivery, and postpartum experience, with a preference for 3 years; at least 1 year of LDRP experience; OR circulating experience in labor and delivery; comfortable with neonatal resuscitation and not solely postpartum; experience with managing titratable and set rate drips such as Pitocin and insulin.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working solely in labor and delivery with OR circulating experience is preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidates may be placed on-call or standby and are expected to present within 30 minutes of callback. All other Sacramento facilities are included in floating requirements.
- Certifications must include ACLS (AHA), Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS (AHA), and NRP.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year, with a preference for 3 years in Labor and Delivery settings.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with the possibility of float shifts.
