Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (ER) Boston, Massachusetts. This position involves providing emergency nursing care in a high-volume, Level I trauma center emergency department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment starts on July 6, 2026, with a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.
Job Details:

- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license (must be current and must have at time of submission)
- 3 years of related work experience
- Basic familiarity with computers
- Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications
- EMR experience required; EMR is provider order entry (specific to BIDMC); transitioning to Epic in the summer
- Certifications: CPR (AHA); ACLS; PALS (preferred); TNCC (preferred)
- Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise (preferred)
- Level I trauma experience highly preferred
- No local travelers will be accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
- Orientation held weekly (every Monday barring a holiday)
- Additional Information:
- Summer needs! BILH coversheet required at time of submission
- No RTO (Leave Requests) will be approved
- Must provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission
- Travelers who worked for the organization within the last six months are not eligible (must be separated for six months)
- Parking can cost up to $43/day in some cases
