Unit: Emergency Department
Location: Manchester, NH
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours (3x12s)
Patient Ratio: 1:4 (may flex during high census)
Charting: Sunrise / Allscripts
📅 Weekly Hours Breakdown
Direct Emergency Patient Care: ~22–24 hrs/week
- Triage, assessment, treatment, and monitoring of ED patients
- Management of high-acuity medical, cardiac, trauma, stroke, and psychiatric cases
Critical Care & Emergency Procedures: ~5–6 hrs/week
- Trauma activations
- Stroke protocols
- Cardiopulmonary emergencies
- IO insertion, U/S-guided IVs, EKGs, rapid infusions
Medication Administration & Monitoring: ~3–4 hrs/week
- IV medications
- ACLS/PALS interventions
- Emergency medication administration
Documentation & Care Coordination: ~3–4 hrs/week
- Charting in Sunrise/Allscripts
- Communication with providers and interdisciplinary teams
Psychiatric & Behavioral Health Care: ~2–3 hrs/week
- Care of patients in secure psychiatric holding area
- Behavioral health assessments and monitoring

📌 Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years Emergency Department Experience
- Active RN License at Submission
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
