🏥 OR RN Job Breakdown
Shift: Days (40 hrs/week)
Weekly Hours: 40 Guaranteed
Facility: Trios Health – Kennewick, WA
Unit: Operating Room (6 OR Suites)
Ratio: 1:1
Charting: Paragon
Trauma Level: III
🩺 Core Responsibilities
- Intraoperative Nursing Care: ~20 hrs/week
Circulating for surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environment, patient safety, and surgical workflow. - Pre/Post-Procedure Coordination: ~6–8 hrs/week
Patient preparation, surgical verification, equipment setup, and PACU handoff communication. - Surgical Specialty Support: ~8–10 hrs/week
Supporting General Surgery, Robotics, Urology, GYN, Spine, Orthopedics (including total joints), Hand, Podiatry, and Vascular procedures. - Documentation & Compliance: ~3–4 hrs/week
Surgical charting, case documentation, regulatory compliance, and quality measures. - Call Coverage: Variable
- 7 call shifts/month
- Must include 1 Saturday, 1 Sunday, and 1 holiday call
📌 Key Requirements
- RN License
- 3+ years OR experience required
- Strong circulating experience across multiple specialties
- Experience with robotic and orthopedic procedures preferred
- Adult and geriatric patient care experience
- Ability to independently manage OR workflow

- 6 OR rooms with 1:1 patient ratio
- Primarily adult and geriatric surgical population
- No floating required
- Teaching hospital environment
- Equipment: Mostly Stryker
- Wide surgical case mix provides excellent skill diversity

Experienced OR RN with strong circulating skills across General Surgery, Ortho, Spine, Urology, GYN, Robotics, and Vascular procedures who is comfortable taking call and working in a fast-paced community teaching hospital.
