Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing acute care in a high-volume emergency setting, handling a diverse patient population including trauma, psychiatric, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Spokane, WA
- Scheduling: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or MOAB, and must pass Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam. Experience with Electronic Patient Records (EHR) system EPIC required. A minimum of 2+ years in a Level-3 or higher emergency department (ED) is required.
- Advanced Skills: Experience handling psychiatric, trauma, general medical, sepsis, cardiac, and stroke patient types.
- Additional Information: First-time traveler considerations are welcome. Floating is rare and may be required to FSED or elsewhere within the healthcare organization to assist as needed.
