Assignment Details
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU RN experience
- Active RN License
- Certifications Required:
Preferred Experience
- High-acuity drip management
- Arterial line experience
- BiPAP / Airvo experience
Unit & Facility Expectations
- First to float to lower acuity units when needed
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Must work major holidays (manager will attempt scheduling flexibility)
- Nicotine-free facility
- New graduates not accepted
Orientation Details
- Days 1–2: TUKHS general orientation
- Day 3: Liberty orientation + clinical orientation
- Day 4: Continued clinical orientation
- Day 5: Computer training completion
Additional Notes
- Facility may cancel one shift per pay period with a minimum 2-hour notice
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- Candidates must submit:
- KU Submittal Form
- Full submission packet through portal and email
