- Required Qualifications: Valid active license in Tennessee, BLS Certification prior to first shift, ACLS certification prior to first shift (CIRH only), minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience, charge nurse experience

- Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, forming the basis of individualized care plans.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify education needs.
- Ensures accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
- Participates in patient rehabilitation programs and manages direct patient care following the nursing process.
- Initiates discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
- Communicates pertinent patient status updates to support continuity of care and safety.
- Provides supervision and direction of ancillary nursing personnel, delegating appropriately.
- Maintains safety in accordance with hospital policies, promotes a positive work environment, and participates in team-building activities.
- Manages supplies and equipment efficiently, and assumes charge responsibility following orientation.
- Actively pursues professional growth through continuing education and self-study.
