Commonwealth Healthcare LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) Assistant Director of Nursing for a travel nursing job in Middletown, Rhode Island.
Job Description & Requirements

DON/ADON experience in similar setting required
RI/Compact RN license required
BLS required
Monday -Friday 8am-4pm, with weekend rotation.
Responsibilities
Assures all necessary mandatory education related to fire safety, infection control, resident rights, hazard communication, safety issues, dementia training and policy and procedure are up to date
Schedules mandatory in-services on a rotating basis
Assists in developing, implementing and conducting relevant in-service training programs and staff-based competencies
Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff, following up on work results
Establishes a positive work environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families
Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests
Provides staff education & development for new hires and on-going competencies
Ensures complete and prompt reporting on incidents with follow up as necessary
Ensures that significant changes in residents' condition are communicated to the physician, family or responsible party
Assist with tracking & administration of staff and resident immunizations
