Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist position is located in Glendale, Arizona. This role involves assisting during open heart surgeries, including the handling of complex equipment and supporting surgical teams in a high-pressure environment. Candidates are required to bring their surgical technologist license on the first day. The position is scheduled for dayshift hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, certification as a surgical technologist, registration with State Regulatory Agency, one to two years of experience in a surgical technologist role or three to four years in such a role.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with open heart procedures, trauma, and travel experience; proficiency with equipment, electronic medical records, and trauma level hospitals.

- Additional Information: Candidate must have manual dexterity, ability to maintain professional decorum in emergent situations, and respond quickly to surgeon and patient needs. Experience with cardiopulmonary bypass, vascular access, and Interventions is preferred. Applicant should be willing to work call and overtime as needed.
