Job Summary: Wichita, KS Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN)
A travel RN position is available on a Medical Surgical floor with a Rehab unit. Responsibilities include assisting with rehabilitation care plans established by the interdisciplinary team and supporting patient care activities such as head-to-toe assessments, lab draws, medication administration, and blood administration as needed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day Shift (7A - 7P), 12 hours, minimum 36.0 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current RN licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience; Ability to pass Airstrip telemetry competency; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Certification: Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN); Experience with Quality Indicator scoring knowledge in post-acute setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Preference for candidates with Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) and knowledge related to Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute settings; Preference for those experienced with telemetry patients.
- Additional Information: Assist in rehabilitation care plan established by the interdisciplinary team; Perform lab draws; Administer intravenous (IV) antibiotics and IV medications as needed; Administer blood as needed; Conduct head-to-toe assessments; Support wound vac dressing changes; Use iSTAT and glucometer as applicable; Administer inhalers and/or breathing treatments.
