Department: Telemetry | RN *Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, phlebotomy is a +* IL License required to submit - # Beds: 18 - Nurse: Patient Ratios: 4-5 days, 5-6 nights. - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, phlebotomy is a + - Common diagnosis: Stroke, CHF, ACS, CAD, etc. Post heart cath patients, arrhythmias. - Experience: Cath Lab post recovery (femoral/radial) and stroke care (highly prefer) 2+ years of recent experience. Must have drip experience. Meditech is a plus. - Are RN's required to titrate drips: No - Common titratable: Set- Cardizem, Amio, Dopamine. Tritrate- Heparin. - Are there Tele on this unit: Yes, monitor tech is also responsible for central telemetry, RN's sign off on strips. - Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge Nurse has a patient assignment. NSO does not. - Are there Nurse Aides on this unit: Yes, ratio is dependent on acuity. Acuity based- 2 CNAS. - RT/Equipment: BiPAP, High Flow. - Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hour shifts (0700-1930 or 1900-0730). Scheduled on shifts most in need. - Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend. - Holiday Requirements: Holiday Rotation. - Is there Call or a Standby requirement: Not for agency, yes for core staff. - Floating Requirements: Yes, to ICU/ MS/ER would take patients within scope. ER boarders. - Scrub Color: Any color. - Department Specific Orientation: Yes 2 12 hour shifts. *Note: All travelers with previous employment at any FHN Memorial location must disclose it on their resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
